BRIDESMAIDS Trailer Arrives

The trailer for the newest Apatow Productions film has surfaced. Bridesmaids is the productions first female centric comedy.
Judging from the trailer I am unsure if they understand the opposite gender. What do you think?

Great ambition, confidence and even comedic execution. But did they need THAT friend? You know the one I mean. Seems like an, un-Apatow-esque, easy way out.

Agreed 100%.

looks really stupid... and lacking in insight into women ... appears to have scripted it for men and cast women instead. oh well, he can't win em all.

The funny thing is that the star wrote it with another woman, so you would expect it to be less generic-feeling.

I think the "Women Bridesmaids" clichè is something that could have been avoided, and it seems that there is nothing too special about the film yet from the really really generic going-for-cheap jokes trailer.

Still, usually Apatow does pretty good by me, so I'd like to hope it turns out good.

But still, that 'friend' that Nick pointed out from the, is the most obnoxious thing ever and had me groaning even when I was watching the trailer.

Reminds me of Artemis from 'Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia' kind of.
