Morgan Freeman In A Car Crash

Many people remember Morgan Freeman from movies such as "The Shawshank Redemption", "Driving Mrs. Daisy", and playing God in 2003's "Bruce Almighty". Freeman's captivating voice and memorable characters make him a well received actor in almost any film he acts in. He can play the scary villain, the old grandfather, or the funny old man, and he can always get the emotion out of the audience that he sets out to find.

Last night on August 3rd, 2008, Morgan Freeman was involved in a car crash. He was driving with an unidentified female passenger in Ruleville, Mississippi. The car flipped several times and ended upside down in a ditch. Freeman and the female were removed from the car using the "Jaws of Life", and taken to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

While it is said that Freeman is in 'serious' condition, other people, including friends and family, have reported him sitting up in bed, and joking with the staff. He has reported a few broken ribs and a knee, but he will hopefully be just fine in a few days.

Morgan Freeman Actually only broke his arm and bruised his elbow. He had surgery and is now walking and looking forward to his hospital release.
