BREAKING NEWS: Harry Potter 6 pushed to July 2009

In a recent press release Warner Bros. announced that they will push Harry Potter and the Half-Blood prince from a Thanksgiving weekend release over to July 17, 2009.

in their press release they wrote:
"Our reasons for shifting 'Half-Blood Prince' to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last Harry Potter film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers' strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films--changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move 'Half-Blood Prince' to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer."
consequently, Disney moved Bolt's release date up a week to November 21, 2008 in response to this announcement.

Upcoming Film: Beverly Hills Chihuahua

Beverly Hills Chihuahua tells the story of a Chihuahua (Drew Barrymore) who gets seperated from her family on a trip to Mexico and must find her family with the help of hr new friends before the dog catcher catches her and uses her fur to start a fur factory.

This movie seems... uh lacking... for a few reasons. 1) It seems to be an excuse to have lame Mexican stereotypes in a movie because they are all seen in dog form. 2) Who the hell uses a "Chihuahua", one of the smallest dogs with ridiculously short hair to start a fur factory. It literally makes no sense. I think I'd rather go to the store and rent "101 Dalmatians 2: Patches London Adventure".

What are your opinions?

Get Smart

Also Coming in 2008 is a spinoff of the Get Smart film titled "Get Smarter: Get Bruce and Lloyd". Seems a little early to make a spinoff, does it not?

Film Review: THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA - PRINCE CASPIAN

Sorry to take so long. If you enjoyed "Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe", you will thuroughly enjoy this film. Ben Barnes does a fantastic job as the newcomer to the cast, Prince Caspian, and all the children from the first film are now older and still delightful.

Narnia has undergone many changes since the first film, the main one being that 1000 years have passed since we last saw it. These are 1000 years Narnia time, so the children are hardly any older. Since last they visited the land of Narnia, many of the animals and inhabitants have been destroyed by the Telmarines, a group of pirates that developed a matriachical society outside of Narnia and will stop at nothing to keep thier hold on the land.
