Ryan Dunn Dies at 34

Ryan Dunn, best known for his exploits on Jackass died in a car crash this morning around 3:00 in Pennsylvania.

As of now, it seems as though the crash occurred as he was traveling over 100 mph. Another body, yet to be identified, was found with him.

Dunn may not have been a shining role model of any sort, but he brought laughter, joy, and warmth into countless people's hearts. And that makes him nothing short of a hero.

I like to think Dunn went out just as he'd have wanted - acting like a jackass.

Pete Postlethwaite Dies at 64

Legendary British actor Pete Postlethwaite passed away today at the age of 64 due to complications with cancer. He will be missed in the world of film greatly. It's a shame that not too many Americans know his name, though this may be because he was never in a Harry Potter film.

RIP, Pete.

Legendary Director Irvin Kershner Dies at 87

Irvin Kershner, celebrated director of The Empire Strikes Back passed away today after a three and a half year battle with lung cancer. He'll be remembered as the director of what is widely considered the greatest sequel of all time.

May the force be with him.

David Carradine, Kung Fu legend was found in his hotel room yesterday in Bangkok. Apparently, he hung himself.
