Green Lantern is a simplistic Saturday morning cartoon with a 200 million dollar budget and lots… I mean lots... of flashy CGI. I enjoyed it for all its silliness; it is the perfect movie to go shut down your brain at for about two hours. But you really, really have to try and shut it down fully, because Green Latern has the weakest, most hole riddled, plot of any movie I have seen this summer, including Transformers Dark or The Moon. Otherwise you might end up comparing the Green Lantern Corps to some fascist paramilitary organization.

New DC Animated Trailer: Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
No, this has nothing to do with the Bale/Depp movie coming out later this year. DC's animation department has been on fire since first appearing with Superman: Doomsday and this seems to keep the tradition going. The style of each films seems to change minutely to give them their own style. They all look like the DC animated style, yet unique and existing in their own world.
So far, only Kevin Conroy has been confirmed as Batman. Superman/Batman: Public Enemies soars on DVD and Blu-Ray in Fall of 2009.
