You want day's possessive not plural.
"You want day's possessive not plural" is grammatically incorrect. I'm pretty sure there should be a comma in there.
No comma was necessary. A comma can be used to set off phrases that express contrast (can be, not must be). However, after a quotation a comma is used within the quotation marks.
