Splice treads a very fine line between a serious science fiction film and a B-movie monster thriller. It could have worked as one of the other but both styles do not mix as smoothly as one would like.

Review: TOY STORY 3

It's been 11 years since Toy Story 2, one of the most solid sequels ever, was released. I've been waiting for this day for quite some time.

I'll get to the point. Toy Story 3 doesn't disappoint. It's a movie that really defies all logic, for it's animated movie that drew more emotion out of me than any live action movie I've ever seen in my life - and it's not even about humans.

Tangled Teaser Surfaces

I say surfaces because hopefully this trailer only scratches the surface of a film that's seven years in the making.




There is no hint of the villain here, any other characters, or any of the plot, so I think there is a lot more in store to see. It also looks GORGEOUS.

Mortal Kombat: Rebirth Featurette

News of a reboot of the Mortal Kombat franchise has been circulating for years. Out of the blue, an extended teaser arrives at the door of the internet, busts it down and kills everyone in the building. It's interesting that they are taking the magic out and just making people psychopathic killers. The imdb page for the film marks a 2013 release, but I think Warner Bros. may have released this in order to gauge the reaction of where it is heading. I dig it and would like to see more. It's not going to be campy, it's going to be balls to the wall ass kicking and fatalities.
