Boaz Yakin, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard ought to be ashamed of themselves. Prince of Persia has the year's most dreadful dialogue, flat and uninteresting characters, and worst character development. This movie, though I'm sure it wasn't, seems like it was written in one draft. Why Jerry Bruckheimer didn't hire Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio to write this movie is beyond me. This project demands their names. They are the number one leaders of the action/fantasy/comedy genre, and because of the failure of a script this movie has, it is absolutely awful. It's one step better than Clash of the Titans, and that's only because the story in this is somewhat logical. If you are going into Prince of Persia expecting to see a movie with the level of fun and laughs found in the first Pirates of the Caribbean, you better start saving up for On Stranger Tides, because at least Ted and Terry are writing that.

Morning Glory Trailer Arises
Finally, a trailer.
I saw this back in November, and it was absolutely hilarious. Much more of a comedy than the trailer makes it seem.

The Last Airbender Facebook Game

It's funny how the social networking age has intertwined with movies. Remember those crappy GameBoy movie spinoff games? Those were the worst. Facebook games usually seem to suck also, as they tend to be over in 5 minutes. However, when you get a game that's produced by the distributor, things can change.
In any case, check out The Last Airbender: "Become the Avatar" game. Apparently, it's an intense game where the player learns how to bend all the elements in an effort to become the Avatar. Along the way, the player also has to build an army and battle enemies. Seems pretty cool.
The Last Airbender hits theaters July 2.

Review: ROBIN HOOD
Ridley Scott’s new version of the Robin Hood story has a little bit of Gladiator, a little bit of Kingdom of Heaven, a little bit of Saving Private Ryan, a little bit of Elizabeth, a little bit from The Patriot and a little bit of King Arthur, but almost nothing related to Robin Hood. The film is certainly well made but this is not what I was expecting.

Review: IRON MAN 2
Like its predecessor, Iron Man 2 delivers the finest form of entertainment within the confines of a very limiting genre. The first Iron Man was a strict superhero origin story that managed to stand out above the rest thanks to Robert Downey Jr.’s quirky acting. This time Iron Man 2 presents the superhero sequel formula with unprecedented elegance.

Cinco De Mayo with MACHETE!
HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO FROM MACHETE! ......to Arizona.
They utilize the same Voice Over track from the "original" trailer.
Needless to say, this movie looks fantastic and it's great to see Danny Trejo get a great starring role.
I can't wait.
